UTV bags theatrical rights of ‘Deiva Thirumagal’

UTV Motion Pictures has bagged all the theatrical rights of ‘Deiva Thirumagal’ throughout the country. ‘Deiva Thirumagal’ is directed by Vijay, stars Chiyaan Vikram, Amala Paul and Anushka in the lead roles.

The movie features Vikram as an adult with the mental maturity of a five year old and it is said that while Amala Paul plays his wife, Anushka plays a lawyer and this is her first de-glam role in Tamil cinema! The movie portrays an emotional conflict and a legal battle between Vikram and his child, where it is said that the latter abandons her father ashamed to be associated with him.

GV Prakash has scored the music for this film and the movie is expected to hit the screens on July 1, the film is also expected to release in over 450 screens across the country!

Coming off as a Chiyaan starrer the movie has immense expectations, looks like the coming days have all the biggies lined up, including ‘Avan Ivan,’ ‘180,’ ‘Deiva Thirumagal’ followed by ‘Velayudham’ and ‘Mankatha.’
